What services does Tiger Bins offer?

We rent attractive-looking steel fabricated waste disposal bins for commercial or residential purposes. The Tiger Bin Rental System offers a comprehensive suite of services that includes drop-off and pickup of a 15 cubic yard Tiger Bin, complete waste sorting and recycling services and landfill/ recycling fee payment on your behalf.

Can I leave the Tiger Bin on the street?

You will need to check with your local municipality regarding any required road occupancy permit for locating a Tiger Bin on the street adjacent to your property. Please note that a permit application typically needs to be filed with the applicable municipality at least four business days in advance of starting your Tiger Bin rental.

How much junk can a Tiger Bin fit?

Tiger Bins can hold up to 15 cubic yards (or approximately 3.5 tonnes) of junk, which is 20% more capacity than most bins typically found on residential construction sites. This means our bins are large enough to accommodate the removal of all of your construction and demolition waste in less loads, saving you time and money.

Are there any items I cannot dispose of?

Yes, due to government regulations we do not accept any hazardous waste, cylinders or aerosol cans.

Will a Tiger Bin scratch or damage my driveway or property?

Where applicable, we always position plywood between the rollers and your driveway to protect it from scratching or damage.

How do I pay for the service?

We accept cash, Interac e-transfers, Visa, MasterCard and company cheques.

How far in advance should I book a Tiger Bin?

Due to strong demand for our services, we strongly recommend that you book your Tiger Bin a minimum of 2 days in advance for a weekday delivery and 5 days in advance for a weekend delivery.

How long can I rent a Tiger Bin for?

You are welcome to rent a Tiger Bin for as long or as short a period of time as you require, however, our minimum 7-day rental rate of $125.00 applies for all bookings.

Do you deliver Tiger Bins late at night or on weekends?

We offer highly flexible delivery and pick-up times for Tiger Bins, including evenings, weekends, and long weekends. We will try our best to accommodate your schedule- just let us know!

What do you do with the junk? Do you recycle?

We will sort your junk and dispose of it according to the strict policies enforced at all City of Calgary landfills or private recycling centers. All discarded items or materials that can be recycled will be unloaded in the designated areas or containers at these locations.
